{one} what color best describes you + why?

Partners in Crime
Hmm… I am going to go with Red. Why because red is a "power" color and it was always my go to color for a rodeo queen interview.  The color showed I had confidence and I wasn't afraid to show the judges.  Plus, it so happens to be my favorite interview outfits were red!
{two} how have you changed in the past year?
Over the last year I have had to over come a few of life's mountains.. I have gained more confidence
in myself over this time and have learned that I MUST put myself before others.
{three} have you ever had any surgeries?
At 19 I had a Tonsillectomy and since then I have had 12 rounds of Synthetic Nerve Block shots in the last 4 months at a surgery center and although they are only a "procedure" it is just as dangerous as a surgery... imagine having needles right along your spine

This is after one of my synthetic nerve blocks
{four} why did you start your blog?
I was bored, living alone, in a city/state where I knew close to no one... It gave me away to journal and share my days of college, my health, and baking with my friends and family

{five} what are you looking forward to this summer?
Beach trips and baking with my mom and my friends. And getting back into shape!

{six} do you have any family traditions for the 4th of July?
When I was WAY younger our street use to have a block party every 4th of July.  We had our own personal firework show too.  Since we moved now, we celebrate on the 2nd or 3rd of July at the community firework show.  And when I was a rodeo queen I would ride in the local 4th of July parade, while my brother and dad were following up the group of horses as the "pooper scoopers" they were a HUGE hit and the parade was always a TON of fun!

{seven} what’s something new that you’ve tried in the past few months?
In the past few months I have became SERIOUS about baking and have spent countless hours in the kitchen.  I have also, gotten back into photography and am playing with the different settings on the camera, looking forward to getting better at both.

{eight} what is the perfect a/c temperature?
Living in So Cal the temperature is usually always "perfect" 70-80 degree weather; however, I can't complain about 120 degree weather in Arizona.

{nine} what was the last movie you saw in the theater?
Bridesmaid with Mr C

{ten} what song do you think everyone should hear at least once?
 Life House.... You and Me

{one} how many times have you been a bridesmaid/maid of honor?
September of this year will mark the third time I will have been a bridesmaid.  Truly great friends are hard to find, difficult to leave, and impossible to forget....

{two} what’s the last thing you do before you fall asleep at night?
Well, I fall asleep with my TV on, so usually the last thing I do is change the channel or put my TV on sleep

{three} you just won your dream vacation, all expenses paid. where are you going?
Australia and New Zealand!!!!

{four} what is your favorite outdoor activity?

I LOVE walking!!! After everything that happened I no longer take working legs for granted.  These legs get me to where I wanna/need to be and if they decided not to work again, Oh I will be sad!!

{five} as a child, what did you want to “be when you grew up”? did you end up there? I always wanted to be a teacher, from the time I could “teach” my stuffed animals.  After a WONDERFUL year in second grade, I decided I was going to teach second graders one day.  Then I grew older and discovered a love for agriculture and the FFA; so, as a freshman in high school I decided I was going to be a high school Ag teacher and FFA advisor.  By senior year I was LOVING law and wanted to be a family law lawyer- I started my college days as a pre law major and LOVED every minute of it.  After hearing my teacher’s story, I got scared! I knew I wanted a family one day- I am MEANT to be a Mommy!  So, I ran back to my first love which included special education after being a buddy for the blind in first and second grade and LOVING every second of working with God’s “extra special children” at special rodeos.  In two years, my dreams of my own classroom will become a reality!!!!  I cannot wait for that day!!!

{six} what are 3 things your dream home would have that you don’t currently have?
Open Layout, Guest Room, and Swimming Pool/Play area for my future kiddos

{seven} what’s for dinner tonight?
Don Jose

{eight} if someone stopped by your house unannounced on a typical Saturday night, what would they find you doing?
Lately, it would be sitting doing my homework or watching a movie…. Nothing to exciting

{nine} what book are you currently reading?
Well,  I actually just finished a book Monday.  You see I bought Something Borrowed  a couple years ago and could never get into it.  After I saw the movie I wanted more detail and in three days the book was read.  I have now downloaded Something Blue  onto my Kindle and am waiting for the perfect amount of "down time" to do some more reading.

{ten} what do you do to relax?
Go out with friends- bowling, movies, dinner, long drives, etc…. Really lately it is just the fact I need to get out of the house to relax.
